The Season 3 update for Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone is here with some major changes and exciting new content for the players. There is no doubt the update is significant in terms of what it brings to the table for the community. It was high time Activision cheered up their user base.
The new Season 3 patch brings the Ricochet Anti-Cheat, which includes the new Cronus Zen detection and a replay system. It also features some Time-To-Kill (TTK) improvements, making close-range combat a lot better. Quality of engagements and movement has also seen some polish.
Warzone 2.0 will see its classic battle royale mode, Plunder, is back in the game. The mode will be available during the season.
Call of Duty Season 3: Al Mazrah Resurgence and New Gulag Map
Resurgence fans have something to rejoice with the introduction of Massive Resurgence. It will take place on a bigger Al Mazrah map, accomodating more players.
After getting a negative response from the 2v2 gulag, Activision is adding a new Gulag map called Blacksite especially made for 1v1 combat.
New Weapon and Balancing Changes
The developers are introducing FJX Imperium Sniper Rifle, which has .408 rounds and a bolt-action mechanism. COD Warzone will also see Cronen Squall Battle Rifle. It’s a semi-automatic rifle made for medium to long range engagements.
We see some major balancing changes to the existing weapons. ISO Hemlock suffers a blow to its damage. The developers have made tweaks to M13B, FTAC Recon, Basilisk, RPK, and more.
