Multiplayer Free Access Week Begins December 17th in Black Ops Cold War

For one week in December, players across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC (Battle.net) can jump in and experience Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War for free! For those who aren't yet sold on the latest installment in the franchise or those who just need some variety in their gaming schedule this month, it's a perfect opportunity to see what Treyarch has to offer.

While the Free Access period will persist for the entirety of the week, the content which is available to Free Access players will be split into two stages. See the following information for details on what to expect during this time.

Stage 1: December 17th to 21st

Stage 1 begins Thursday, December 17th at 10AM PT and ends Monday, December 21st at 10AM PT. During this time, Free Access players will have access to a wide variety of experiences that Black Ops Cold War has to offer.

From the return of Modern Warfare's 2v2 Gunfight to the classic Team Deathmatch, here's the full lineup of modes, maps, and playlists which Free Access players can expect to experience during Stage 1.

Nuketown Holiday 24/7 & Raid the Mall

Looking for fast-paced, chaotic gameplay with a holiday twist? Look no further than Nuketown Holiday 24/7. If you'd rather experience Treyarch's signature combat without the chaotic nature of a nuclear testing facility, consider the dedicated playlist contains Raid and The Pines.

Stage 2: December 21st to 24th

Stage 1 begins Monday, December 21st at 10AM PT and ends Thursday, December 24th at 10AM PT. During this time, Free Access players will have access to a refreshed subset of experiences!

Featuring the all-new Prop Hunt and Fireteam: Dirty Bomb modes, here's the full lineup of modes, maps, and playlists which Free Access players can expect to experience during Stage 2.

Prop Hunt

Slowly but surely becoming a staple in the Call of Duty franchise, this anxiety-inducing party mode will be available to Free Access players in Stage 2; however, the maps which will be available is not explicitly stated at this time.
